SA Litho Label Printers was on the receiving end of not one, but two awards at the 2018 Gapp Awards.

Celebrating excellence, The GAPP Awards recognises producers of the finest printed work in the printing and packaging industry. The Awards ceremony was held at Emperors Palace on the 12 th of October.

We are proud to announce that our Amarula Name Them Save Them label, produced for Distell using our SmartStream Mosaic technology, has been awared the Gold award in the Variable Data Printing category of the 2018 Gapp Awards.

Mosaic is a software algorithim that allows us to generate thousands of unique label designs using just one or two base designs. We generated 400 000 unique Amarula label designs (one for each remaining African Elephant) using only two seed patterns. Each elephant also boasts a unique name – because if we name them, we can save them.

Our Durbanville Hills Sauvignon Blanc Sparkling Wine label, produced for Distell, was awarded the Winning Acheiver Award in the Packaging Labels – Paper category at the 2018 Gapp Awards as well.

We are proud to congratulate our sister company, Boland Printers a division of CTP Limited, who were awarded a silver award in the Packaging Labels – Paper category for their Boss Dog Food label, produced for Promeal.
